Traveling Patients

Surgery One recognizes that more and more patients are paying out of pocket for their medical care. When it comes to surgery, patients are becoming more selective about their surgeons and where they go for care. Surgery One is happy to offer the following services to patients who are willing to travel for their care.

These services include:

• Assisting patients with matching the appropriate surgery care provider for the type of surgery needed.
• Concierge Care including coordinating travel arrangements (airfare, hotel, car rental, etc.) for the duration of their stay.
• Setting a “global” price for their care, which includes travel, surgeon’s fees, anesthesia fees and outpatient facility fees at a fraction of what it usually costs at a hospital.
• After care nursing.
• Coordinating insurance coverage, if applicable.
